…and, we’re back!

It’s been just about two years since we hit pause on our travel stories, photos, and art here on Ephemerratic. During that time, while working to fill our round-the-world-depleted bank accounts back up, Todd and I have road-tripped, traveled abroad, staycationed, and also stayed put.

Both our lives have danced between awesome and hellacious, though happily, on average, it’s been more often toward the awesome end of the spectrum. Recently, I have found both the awesome and hellacious creatively motivating, in that both remind me:

Life is too damn short.

As you can see, the website has been given a re-do. But, since it’s a shiny new DIY effort, expect a few technical glitches. You can armchair travel with us on Facebook or Twitter, though don’t expect live tweets as events unfold. Storytelling and drawing are our natures, and both take time.

I’m writing this from the Lima, Peru airport, waiting for our flight to Cusco. We have lots of Lima’s addictive ceviche under our belts—literally—and the ear-popping, jaw-dropping heights of Machu Picchu ahead of us.

All that and more.
